Session Description
Teachers will explore how to make their classrooms environments where play teaches children alongside them. This track focuses on: Designing immersive play environments that naturally teach thematic concepts and build connections. Scaffolding learning through subtle guidance and intentional materials. Observation and assessment strategies to document how children learn through play and use that data to plan future experiences. Creating a balance between free play, guided play, and intentional play to maximize learning opportunities. Teachers will leave with actionable strategies to embed developmental goals into everyday play and a plan to turn their classroom into a hands-on, interactive learning lab.
