Session Description
Leaders will learn how to foster a culture of purposeful play by guiding their teams to see play as a critical pathway to learning. This track focuses on: Easy, engaging strategies to help teachers observe and assess children’s learning through play. Modeling and presence: Why leaders must be visible in the classroom to set the tone for quality play-based learning. Embedding play into staff development: Incorporate playful, hands-on strategies in team meetings to strengthen collaboration and creative thinking. Creating systems that support teachers in aligning play with developmental goals while keeping it engaging and fun. Leaders will leave with practical tools to coach their teams, enhance observation skills, and create a program-wide culture that values play as an intentional driver of child development.
