The Play Planner module extends the Play to Win session by turning concepts into action through intentional planning and reflection. Over the course of one week, participants will design and implement a purposeful play plan that connects every environment to a clear learning goal and measurable outcome. For Leadership: Coach with Clarity: Leaders will create a program-wide Play Planner to guide teachers in aligning play with developmental goals. Model Observation: Learn to observe play interactions with staff and children, providing feedback and professional development rooted in real classroom moments. Build Team Capacity: Use the Play Planner as a tool during staff meetings to integrate play-based strategies into team culture and professional learning. Measure Impact: Document how intentional play planning supports program quality and aligns with broader leadership goals. For Teachers: Intentional Environments: Plan and set up each play area with a specific learning focus that integrates developmental goals. Observation as Assessment: Document subtle learning cues during play to guide future lesson planning.
